TIL stands for “Today I Learned,” in case you didn’t know — like me until recently.

Recently, I was looking for an LLM to do some text and image processing. Obviously, I first took a look at the mainstream providers like OpenAI, Anthropic, and Google. However, even though they offer reasonable pricing, I’ve always wanted to try different, “alternative,” and possibly open-source models like Llama.

So I started searching for some kind of LLM aggregator and, of course, there are some. The ones that caught my eye were:

• together.ai
• Groq

Both look really great, both provide good DX, but Groq is cheaper 😊 We’ll see whether I stick with it or move to another solution.
